Tuttle arrived home to NC for a short stay. She loved her time in Maryland with Cannonball and is now excited to be traveling to NY to see krazypeanut and family. Off she goes...have a safe trip Tuttle! Write home sometime...

Tuttle already busy boxin'...

We set out on Saturday around lunchtime and it was already hot and humid, but we thought we would go anyway. It was not so bad. We set out looking for the Arborology series of 3 in Bowie, Maryland. We got to the trail and Tuttle led the way finding the first box in record time. Then on to box 2 and 3. The hike was short but in the woods after the rains we had, boy it was steamy. We got to box #3 and had to climb a hill. At the end of a fallen tree we saw a turtle! "Look", shouted Tuttle... "a cousin"! He smiled while we got his picture for our adventures.

We stamped in and Tuttle and Strawbble Berry politely said goodbye and we were off back to the car. Boy by then we were given out so we all got a drink we had brought with us and headed back home. When we got back, there was a package sitting at the door. What could that be ? It was Belle the Ballerina Cow. She is here for a visit too. Next time, she will go out with us boxing. Meanwhile, we will see what trouble we can get into.... I mean we will get to know each other. *snicker* I will tell them all about the sea.

Tuttle had a safe trip to Maryland

Tuttle just arrived this afternoon and she is already making friends. She has read her books to my neighbors granddaughter (she is 5) who was here for the day and spending the night with grandma and grandpa. I used Tuttle's stamps and made her a bookmark she could take home with her and use later. What a smile!

Also, Tuttle has found some of my turtle buddies to hang out with as well, and are discussing Crabby. Good thing he is not here or well, it could spell disaster. Hoping we can get into lots of trouble... er... have a lot of fun while she is here. Also, Strawbble Berry came today as well. They are going to have a grand time letterboxing! :o)

A visit to Franklin Lakes, NJ scheduled for November

Wow...Tuttles date book is filling up. She will visit Jersey Chick in November. Jersey Chick lives in NJ....not too far from NY!!! Close to the ocean too!!

Tuttle was very popular...

Tuttle was very popular at the "Man It's Hot" gathering in Raleigh, NC, where she made her debut. Many letterboxers thought she was so cute and loved her logbook and stamp backpack. Although it was a very busy day, several letterboxers stamped into her logbook...deevahnc, Sweet N Sour, Airstream Dreams, Shoafsters, Fluffy Angel, 1101010, Ladybee from TN, and Hannah from Germany.

She is packing up right now and getting ready for her trip to Maryland. She will be missed.

Going to NY in October

Wow... Already I have many requests for my company. I will be visiting Krazypeanut in October, they live in NY. I have never been to NY. There are 3 children there that I will get to meet and play with. I am taking some of my favorite books and sea turtle activity/fun sheets along for each of the children. It will be so much FUN!! Hopefully they will send some pictures home for all to enjoy.

After I make my debut at the "2nd Annual Triangle Area Mini Gatherin-MAN ITS HOT!" event on August 18, I will pack my bags and head over to see Turtlelove's friend, Cannonball. I can't wait to meet her, although, Turtlelove is a bit green with envy that I get to meet her first...
